After eating some cake on my birthday and having this kid (yet again) bore holes into my soul with his big brown pleading eyes...we decided to take the plunge and give him his first taste of solid food a couple weeks early.
As expected, the oatmeal went practically everywhere but his mouth. He was good about opening his mouth for the spoon, but actually swallowing the food was a different story entirely haha. Eventually we just gave him the spoon covered in oatmeal to gum on and he was ALL about that.
We are proud of you big boy. Hopefully you will be just as enthusiastic about your veggies :)
