So one of Richard's friend's mom's cousin's cat's babysitter...
Kidding. Richard's friend Chris' mom LOVES Richard & she works high up with Motel 6 so she hooked us up with 2 free nights in San Diego. It was so incredibly sweet of her & opened up a ton of opportunities for us to actually DO things while we were there instead of just forking out a ton of cash on a hotel!
Now, while we were incredibly grateful...we know that Motel 6s aren't the creme de la creme of places to stay. However, besides the terrifying elevator and this random chick that was literally ALWAYS in the lobby whenever we came/left, it was such a great stay! Our room was super cute and renovated even if it was ORANGE ;) Oh, and the view couldn't be beat. We were smack dab in the middle of downtown and walking distance from like, everything. I wish I knew how to better use the night setting on Cassi's camera (thanks again!) so I could have got a city scape at night, but you'll get the idea.
